제목 Changing the dielectric properties of BaTiO3 filled polymer composites by controll of their structure
초록 The dielectric properties of BaTiO3 (BT) filled polymer composites are investigated, where the structure of the composite is modified by filling the matrix with polymer-encapsulated BT particles and forming the semi-IPN or IPN with several cross-linkers. Poly(phenylene oxide) (PPO) and polyimide (PI) are used as the polymer matrix. Polymer encapsulation of BT is most effective for lowering the permittivity and tan δ of the composite via the suppression of the interfacial polarization. The copolymerization effect introduced by the cross-linker is ignorable for low dielectric matrix, but in the case of where the high dielectric matrix is used as matrix, the magnitude of permittivity and dielectric loss is significantly decreased by the copolymerization. It could be said that the polymer encapsulation of filler and the introduction of IPN structure in the matrix are most effective to control the dielectric constant and loss of dielectric particle filled polymer composites.
