제목 Semi-interpenetrating polymer network membrane based on sulfonated PPO and acrylate for DMFC application
초록 Poly(phenylene oxide) (PPO) is an engineering polymer with high thermal-resistivity and excellent mechanical properties. In this study, highly sulfonated PPO (sPPO) was synthesized according to post-sulfonation method which utilizes trimethylsilyl chlorosulfonate(TMSCS) as sulfonic agent. For the membrane, sPPO, di- or tri- functional acrylate, and initiator (AIBN) were combined into a solution and then cast into a film at 50℃. Obtained film was polymerized by UV or thermally for 3hour. The success of film formation and sPPO were investigated by 1H NMR spectroscopy and FT-IR. The membrane was studied by ion exchange capacity (IEC), water uptake, proton conductivity, and methanol permeability.
