In this laboratory, spheres of polysilsesquioxanes were prepared in different chemical compositions and different sizes. Some of these spheres have interesting properties regarding both chemical and physical aspects. In this poster presentation, we are demonstrating composites of some of polysilsesquioxane spheres and PMMA. Depending on the preparation methods, properties of composites vary. The most interesting feature of these compostes is high transparancy even when the content of spheres was as high as 20 wt%. |
