TiO2 nanotube array (NTA) has been gotten a great attention because of its various advantages, however, band gap of TiO2 NTA is so big that it cannot apply for the oxidants generating material. Blue TiO2 NTA was successfully fabricated by cathodic polarization to reduce band gap of TiO2 NTA. Blue TiO2 NTA has a great performance for generating oxidants such as chlorine (Cl2) and hydroxyl radical (∙OH) compared with commercial electrodes, but stability of blue TiO2 NTA has been a big obstacle. Moreover, there has been no research about stability of blue TiO2 NTA. In this study, effect of cathodic polarization to the stability of blue TiO2 NTA was evaluated by acceleration stability test. SEM and mott-Schottky plot were measured to confirm the structural change and the effect of doped proton, respectively. We found that proton de-intercalation influenced in the stability of blue TiO2 NTA. |
