제목 A Solution-Processable n-Type Molecular Dopant for Graphene and Organic Semiconductor-Based Electronics
초록 The development of the solution-processable organic n-type dopant is important for realizing low-cost organic electronics. In addition, heating-free doping is promising for use in organic flexible electronics. In this study, we developed a simple fabrication method of a high-performance n-type organic dopant. After coating the dopant solution, the organic non-polar solvents are removed using the vacuum at 1 × 10-3 torr without any heating steps. The work function of graphene is changed from 4.5 eV to 3.98 eV after doping at room-temperature. The doping process results in long-term air-stability. Also, by using the doped graphene electrodes, the electrical performance of n-type organic field-effect transistors can be improved because of well-matched energy levels between the electrodes and the semiconductor. Our findings show an important method for the cheap synthesis of n-type dopants and their use for the modulation of characteristics in graphene and organic electronics.
