Improving the environmental stability of conjugated polymers remains a fundamental challenge in their widespread applications to electronic and optoelectronic devices and commercial feasibility. Although paraffin could afford excellent barrier properties to water vapor and oxygen, conjugated polymer/paraffin blends have not been reported. Here, we demonstrate that conjugated polymer/paraffin blends could provide organic field-effect transistors with highly enhanced environmental stability. Further, we systematically investigate the effects of processing parameters such as solution shear-coating speed and thermal annealing temperature on the morphology, charge transport, and environmental stability of the blend films. |
