제목 A simulation study on carbon dioxide capture and case studies on chemical absorption and membrane separation methods
초록 In the current era, the greenhouse gases are being heavily produced which leads to environmental pollution and this is an emerging issue now a days. Several researchers have been working since a long time to handle this inevitable problem. One way to overcome this environmental threat is to capture hazardous gases from the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is the major constituent of the greenhouse gases and there has been immense research on carbon dioxide capture and several methods have been proposed. In this work, the amine absorption and the membrane capture processes are studied and the novel 5 cases have been proposed to capture carbon dioxide. The combination of amine and membrane technology is also investigated and the overall work exhibits the most effective process among all the cases studied.
