초록 | To analyze the metabolic networks of the system, enumeration of all independent pathways or elementary flux mode is an important step. The goal of this study is to analyze metabolic networks of the red blood cell. So using the pathway identification method, extreme pathway and elementary flux mode has been detected. The flux-balance analysis is applied to obtain optimal flux distributions maximizing ATP production. And the result is connected to the pathway analysis. The dynamics of the red blood cell is investigated by simulations on the basis of differential equations. And relationships of these three pathway analysis techniques are also considered simultaneously. The three analysis techniques are the basis of metabolic engineering, which is the targeted improvement of cellular properties through modification of specific bioreactions (or introduction of new ones) with the use of rDNA technology. So methodologies used in this thesis can be useful for the analysis of complex metabolic network. |
