제목 Biogas purification by membrane proess for CNG and gas grid injector application
초록 The objective of this study is to develop a membrane upgrading process with high recovery of at least 80% at CH4 purity of 97% for the production of vehicle fuel- or grid injection- quality gas from landfill biogas or anaerobic digestion gas. We installed lab-scale and pilot-scale testing facilities, with which commercial hollow fiber membrane modules were tested with various feed mixture of CH4/CO2, and various operation conditions such as feed pressure, feed flow rate, stage-cut and membrane stage. From the test results, it was estimated that 1 stage membrane process could show 68% of low CH4 recovery at 97% CH4 purity for the feed composition of CO2 : CH4 = 0.4 : 0.6, while 2 stage membrane process with recirculation could show about 90% of high recovery.
