제목 Durable and carrier-selective interface for perovskite solar cells using a blend interlayer
초록 A polar insulating polymer was first introduced to passivate the oxygen defects on ZnO nanoparticle electron collection layers between the perovskite layer and the cathode of perovskite solar cells; this process was found to significantly improve perovskite layer’s mechanical adhesion and thermal stability on the ZnO layer. We also systematically modified the interfacial electronic structure of the ZnO by varying the nanocomposite ratio so as to match the energy level of the cathode to that of the conduction band of the perovskite layer. An electron-selective interface is formed as a result of the alignment of the energy levels of the cathode and the perovskite layer and of the hole blocking effect due to the deep-lying valence band (~7.6 eV) of ZnO; this interface reduces carrier recombination loss and increases the carrier lifetime in the perovskite solar cells.
