A study on the properties of PPO/GPPS/SAN/CNT nanocomposites. |

Modified-polyphenylene oxide(MPPO) used for electronic materials due to excellent mechanical and electrical properties has been already well-known as a miscible blend. It is expected that mechanical properties can be remarkably improved by the addition of styrene-acrylonitrile(SAN). In order to enhance of mechanical properties, we experimentally investigated the effect of the addition of styrene-acrylonitrile(SAN) to MPPO/CNT nanocomposites. In this study, MPPO/PC/ABS/CNT nanocomposites were prepared by melt compounding. Properties of MPPO/PC/ABS/CNT nanocomposites were measured by using the universal testing machine(UTM), differential scanning calorimeter(DSC) and digital multimeter. Also using the transmission electron microscopy(TEM) were observed to see morphology of PPO/GPPS/SAN/CNT nanocomposites. |
