Electrical and thermal properties of PS/PVDF blend containing CNT |

In recent years, the nanocomposites containing CNT(Carbon nanotube) have been extensively studied according to results of research. Due to their potential properties such as electric, thermal & mechanical properties, one of the most promising properties is a electric conductivity. The system of PS/PVDF blend that we used is immiscible, but both polymers have a good conductivity. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to confirm the effects derived from the presence of CNT in this blend. In order to confirm the effect of CNT loading, CNT composition on the conductivity was conducted after we prepared nanocomposites of PS/PVDF blend containing CNT by melt mixing in the twin screw extruder. Then, the morphology of nanocomposites were investigated using TEM to analyze the states of CNT dispersion. In addition, DSC was used to analyze the thermal property of nanocomposites. |
