제목 The Quasi Solid-State Electrolytes for Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells
초록 Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs), constructed by using TiO2 and dye molecules, liquid electrolytes, have attractive features in terms of the high light-to-electricity conversion efficiency and the cost effectiveness. The electrolytes, usually composed of an I-/I3- redox couple in organic solvents, are sealed between two electrodes. These organic solvents cause a serious problem of low durability due to the evaporation and leakage for the device. DSSCs based on solvent free electrolytes exhibit low conversion efficiencies compared to liquid electrolyte cells We recently introduced the quasi-solid-state electrolyte, with the characteristic of electron pathway by liquid crystal. We showed that IPCE, impedance, dependence of light intensity and power conversion efficiency under AM 1.5 illumination.
