제목 Densities and refractive index at 298.15 K for the ternary system of PVE ethanol Toluene and the binary sub-systems
초록 Lower alkyl vinyl ethers e.g., methyl vinyl ether, propyl vinyl ether, isopropyl vinyl ether, and hexyl vinyl ether are copolymerized with maleic anhydride and treated with alkali metal salt sulfite to form an sulfomethylated copolymer. Aqueous solutions of this sulfomethylated copolymer are useful in increasing the viscosity of drive fluids used in the supplemented recovery of petroleum from subterranean formations. Alkyl vinyl ethers are used increasingly as industrial solvents and chemical intermediates in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry. In this work, densities and refractive index at 298.15 K are reported for the binary and ternary systems of Propyl vinyl ether (PVE) ethanol Toluene.
