제목 Highly Selective Ethylene Tetramerization Cr(III) Catalysts Derived from Chiral Chelating 1,2-Bis(diphenylphosphino)-1,2-dimethylethanes (DPDME) Ligand Systems: Synthesis, Catalytic Activity, and Theoretical Calculations on Chiral S,S- and R,R-(DPDME)CrCl3
초록 we have now reported ethylene tetramerization reaction that produces 1-octene in selectivities exceeding 67%. A variety of 2 carbon bridged diphosphine ligands, in combination with Cr(III) compounds activated by aluminoxanes, were found to be active and efficient catalysts for 1-Octene production. Exceptionally (S,S)-DPDME/Cr(III) compound was found to be very high productivities in excess of 1000000 g/g Cr/h could be achieved. While (S,S)-DPDME, (R,R)-DPDME/Chromium(III) complex produced remarkably high activity and selectivity, meso-DPDME /Chromium(III) complex appeared moderate yield. This indicates that direction of backbone two methyl group play a key role of activity and selectivity.
