제목 | Comparative studies on thermal conductivity of epoxy composites with different nano-sized fillers |
초록 | In this work, comparative studies on thermal conductivity were accomplished by epoxy matrix composites prepared with different nano-sized fillers, such as CNT or CNF with a fixed graphite content of 50 phr. The thermal properties of the composites was measured by a hot-plate type thermal conductivity meter. From the results, it was found that the thermal conductivity was enhanced with increasing CNT/CNF content. This result indicates that high CNT/CNF content led to the good thermal conductivity of the composites. However, CNT-reinforced composites showed higher thermal conductivity than that of CNF composites, indicating that higher volume fraction of fillers in the composites due to the lower density of CNT than that of the CNF caused lower thermal loss in this composites system. |
