Physical Properties and Fibrillation Tendency of Regenerated Cellulose Fiber Spun from Cotton linter/Wood pulp Mixture |
초록 |
Lyocell made of wood pulp is an established fiber among the “manmade cellulose fiber family”. In previous study some important points have been discussed about wood pulp and cotton linter pulp based Lyocell. Several demerits of Lyocell were a deforestation and fibrillation tendency for wood pulp, and the higher prices of raw material than wood pulp for cotton linter. So in this study, to solve these problems, we prepared the regenerated cellulose fibers using the dope solution of cotton linter/wood pulp mixture, investigated the physical properties and fibrillation tendency of as-spun fibers depending on the mixing composition and molecular weight of cotton linter, and compared them with normal cotton linter and wood pulp based regenerated cellulose fiber. It is expected that the mixture system gives lower cost as well as less fibrillation.
