Application of Impedance Spectroscopy to Organic Light-Emitting Diodes |
초록 |
Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) have been establishing the industrial position through low temperature polycrystalline Si technology. The OLED is constructed as a type of multilayers deposited using thermal evaporation of small molecules. Active-matrix organic light-emitting diodes are considered as one of powerful next-generation displays. The unique feature includes wide viewing angle, high brightness, superior color coordinates, and faster response times, due to self emitting characteristics. The commercialization of OLEDs is critically dependent on the guaranteed reliability. This work attempts an application of impedance spectroscopy to organic light-emitting diodes, since the frequency dependent impedance information allows the deconvolution of physical origins in the electrical/dielectric responses, the simultaneous estimation of resistivity and dielectric constant, and the lateral homogeneity in interfacial responses. The resistive and capacitive values in OLEDs are suitable in applying impedance spectroscopy, with the aim to understanding the electrical/dielectric properties in OLEDs. This work adopts a simplified OLED structure which is constructed with Alq3 and NPB materials. The impedance spectra The impedance information will be discussed in conjunction with luminescent features in OLEDs. |
