Analysis of Rapamycin-Eluting Stent coated biodegrable polymer |
초록 |
Coronary arterial stenting with drug-eluting stent (DES) is a major therapy for the treatment of coronary arterial diseases inpresent interventional cardiology practice. Rapamycin (also called sirolimus) is a macrocyclic lactone drug approved by FDA. In vitro and in vivo studies indicate that it can significantly prevent proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cell of human and inhibit in-stent restenosis due to neointima formation. Rapamycin also has anti-inflammatory activity. So, the rapamycin-eluting stents were extensively studied by many people and many meaningful results were obtained. In this study, Rapamycin-elutiong metal stent were prepared through an nano spray-coating method. DES(drug-eluting stent) composed of biodegradable poly(ε-Caprolactone) and rapamycin. The study investigated that the DES were physicochemical properties. |
