제목 Convenient synthesis of biocompatible carbon dots utilized AB2 type monomer through microwave operation
초록 Recently, considerable research attentions have been concentrated on carbon dots (CDs) owing to their great optoelectrical performance, chemical inertness, and low cytotoxicity. CDs based on lysine (AB2 type monomer; A:COOH, B:NH2) is more biocompatible compared with existing CDs because lysine is a kind of essential amino acid. The prepared CDs show strong blue emission at 431 nm. Synthesis of lysine-based CDs was implemented by bottom-up approach through microwave operation. Because of using a household microwave oven, it is very simple and has a short synthesis time within 5 min. In addition, using one kind of monomer to prepare CDs leads to excellent scalability. Further specific characterization will be showed in detail. 2016년 한국교통대학교 지원을 받아 수행하였음.
