제목 Solvothermal synthesis of one-dimensional Bi2Te3 nanotubes in ethylene glycol
초록 Bi2Te3 based alloys are known as the best thermoelectric materials near room temperature. The performance of thermoelectric materials depends on the figure of merit ZT (ZT=α2σT/κ, where α is the Seebeck coefficient, σ is the electric conductivity, κ is the thermoelectric conductivity and T is the absolute temperature). Bi2Te3 was synthesized in ethylene glycol by solvothermal method. Morphology of Te was affected by NaOH. When there was no NaOH, Te nanobelts were obtained. But, under the condition existing NaOH, Te nanorods were synthesized. And Bi2Te3 alloys could be obtained in the alkali condition of pH 12~13. The microstructures of Bi2Te3 nanotubes, such as particle shape and crystal structures, were investigated by XRD, SEM, TEM, SAED, DSC and XPS.
