제목 Highly stable positively charged nanoscale emulsions produced by assembly of synthetic cationic amphiphilic triblock copolymers
초록 Amphiphilic block copolymers have been received wide attention due to their intriguing properties, such as surface activity as well as self-assembly. In this work, we synthesized two types of amphiphilic block copolymers, poly [2-(methacryloyloxy) ethyl phosphorylcholine]-block-poly (ε-caprolactone)-block-poly [2-(methacryloyloxy) ethyl phosphorylcholine] and poly (2-aminoethyl methacrylate)-block-poly (ε-caprolactone)-block-poly (2-aminoethyl methacrylate), by using atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). We showed that highly stable cationically charged nanoscale emulsions could be fabricated by assembling the combined block copolymers at the oil-water interface. We expect these surface-charged nanoemulsion would find a variety of applications in fields of cell targeting, drug delivery, and cosmetics.
