Polymer/silver nanocomposites have been extensively studied because of their potential applications, ranging from electronic and optical devices to biosensing and antimicrobial agents. In this study, a novel and simple process was introduced for in-situ synthesis of polymer/Ag nanocomposites using PAA-Ag salts. For the investigation, the polyacrylicacid silver salts (PAA-Ag salts) were prepared from the PAA and AgNO3. We showed the effect of reaction temperature and reducing agent on the particle size of silver nanoparticles. The polyacrylicacid/Ag nanocomposites were charaterized by XRD, TGA, DSC and TEM. |
