The polyurethane(PU) was a superior material to have biocompatibility and heat-resisting property for wounded dressing. In this study, PU films were prepared by prepolymer synthesis. The urethane prepolymer in medical quality was synthesized without ingredients beside monomers (polyethylene glycol 2000 and 1.6-Hexamethylene diisocyanate). The mechanical properties of synthesized PU film were investigated using moisture meter analysis, tension meter. The thermal properties and morphologies were investigated using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM). |
