제목 Oxidation rate of OPA in Supercritical Water Oxidation
초록 The oxidation rate of OPA, a mixture of isopropyl alcohol and isopropyl amine, is examined over the reaction temperatures ranged from 410 to 557oC ; the reactor residence time varied from 10 to 14 s at a fixed pressure of 250 bar. The OPA feed concentrations examined were at 1 - 10 wt.% at conversion efficiencies from 88% to > 99.9 %. The experiments were performed in an isothermal tubular reactor using H2O2 as the oxidant. The conversion of OPA was monitored by analysing total organic carbon (TOC) on liquid samples. The results indicate that the OPA conversion efficiencies of greater than 99.97% could be achieved at temperatures over 557oC with H2O2 concentration of 200% stoichiometric requirements and reactor residence time of near 11 s.
