The concentration of glutathione (reduced form) is higher around tumor cells than normal cells. Based on this fact, disease responsive delivery system, especially cancer, was designed. Poloxamer was connected by disulfide to prepare multiblock poloxamer. The disulfide bond was degraded in response to glutathione concentration. The physicochemical properties and degradation of the disulfide-connected-multiblock-poloxamer were investigated by NMR, IR, rheometer, light scattering and gel permeation chromatography. |
