All Organic Solution Processed Two-terminal Transistors via Photo-induced p-Channel Effect |

All organic solution processed two-terminal transistors were fabricated by replacing ‘field induced p-channel’ with ‘photo-induced p-channel’. Simple device structure with solution processed single crystals (TIPSAntNa) as an active layer on the plastic substrate and just two source and drain PEDOT:PSS electrodes enabled high performance photosensor and even transistor performance showing pseudo output/transfer curve (on/off ratio 5ⅹ102). We demonstrated that this ‘photogenerated p-channel effect’ can be explained by the Helfrich’s theory describing the photodetrapping behavior of a SCLC under light illumination. |
