제목 Preparation of SiO2-MGH/PMMA Core-shell sub-micron composites by Emulsion Polymerization
초록 Nano sized SiO2 coated Mg(OH)2 (SiO2-MGH) inorganic particle which modified with 3-(Trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate(γ-MPS) as silane coupling agent was prepared. The γ-MPS treated SiO2-MGH were characterized by FT-IR measurements. The core-shell sub-micron composites of SiO2-MGH/PMMA was synthesized by emulsion polymerization in the presence of MMA and γ-MPS treated SiO2-MGH . The compatibility of SiO2-MGH's surface with MMA was achieved through the condensation of γ-MPS. The structure of core-shell nanocomposite was examined by SEM and TEM. The thermal propertis of the composites analyzed by TGA.
