Preparation and Characterization of Polyethylenimine-loaded Graphene for CO2 Capture |

In this work, we have prepared polyethylenimine-loaded graphene (PEI-Gr) with different PEI amounts for CO2 capture. The features and morphologies were observed SEM and TEM measurements. The microcrystalline characteristics were studied XRD and FT-Raman spectroscopy. The textural properties were analyzed by N2/77 K and vapor/298 K adsorption/desorption isotherms. The CO2 adsorption/desorption performance was evaluated using a TGA at 40oC under the N2 flow. From the results, it was found that the PEI on graphene surfaces had contributed to enhance the CO2 adsorption in the CO2/N2 atmospheres. |
