Spectroscopic Studies of Charge Transportin solid-state Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells |

Interfacial charge transport is crucial to the design of dye-sensitized solar cells. We studied the dynamics of the charge separation and recombination in solid-state dye-sensitized solar cells employing a series of triarylamine-based materials as hole transport medium. Dynamics of charge recombination and regeneration were monitored by transient absorption spectroscopy and pore filling of these hole transport materials was examined by scanning electron microscope. These two parameters are also correlated with device performance. As a result, we studied fundamental understanding of kinetic competition in solid-state dye-sensitized solar cells for realization of future applications. |
