초록 Development of Microfluidic skin on a Chip for Screening Cosmetic Functional Materials
Despite growing interest in cosmetics, there is a lack of skin models for accurate assessment of stability. In order to make such a skin model, we have developed a 3D skin on a chip using microfluidic channel. However, it is necessary to establish optimal culture conditions to obtain accurate and stable experimental results using this skin on a chip in earnest. In order to optimize the skin on a chip, two major considerations are considered. Considerations are the concentration of cells and the thickness of the scaffold. The dermal cells used in the experiment are characterized by pulling the scaffold around. Therefore, it is important to establish the culture concentration of cells with low shrinkage. The shrinkage rate according to each concentration was observed.  Cell viability and cell adhesion rate according to cell concentration was also confirmed. The thicker the scaffold, the more convenient it is to experiment, but the disadvantage is that the supply of medium is not uniform. Therefore, in order to establish optimal scaffold thickness, cell viability and cell adhesion rate were examined.
