Porous materials with high surface area, low volume and functionality have attracted extensive attention for few years due to their diverse potential applications in the region of gas storage, drug delivery systems(DDS), and tissue engineering. Practically in case of tissue engineering, many researchers have developed pore properties for applying medical scaffold materials. In our study, as fabricating medical scaffold, PLA polymer with biodegradable property, biocompatible in human body and chemical foaming agents were carried out extrusion foaming. Also, effect of chemical foaming agent content and expansion behavior were investigated using differential scanning calorimeter(DSC), thermos gravimetric analysis(TGA), scanning electron microscope(SEM) and etc. |
