Synthesis and Characterization of Donor-Acceptor System Polymeric Semiconductors |

The influence of electron deficient unit and interdigitated packing shape on OTFTs based on new semiconducting polythiophene derivatives is reported. A series of new semiconducting polythiophene derivatives containing a thiazole and benzothiadiazole moeities an electron deficient unit was successfully synthesized via Stille coupling reactions. In the OTFT devices exhibited the highest TFT mobility of 0.05 cm2/Vs and good film morphology. In addition, polymer bulk heterojunction solar cells showed power conversion efficiency (PCE), 1.33%, with post-thermal annealing at 140 °C. |
