제목 Synthesis of Colorless and Transparent Photosensitive Polyimide
초록 Colorless photosensitive polyimides have attracted considerable attention in insulation layer for TFT-LCD devices due to their simple fabrication process1. In this study, negative-type photosensitive polyamic acids have been prepared by condensation reaction of 1,2,3,4-cyclobutanetetracarboxylic dianhydride (CBDA), 2-(methacryloyloxy) ethyl 3,5-diaminobenzoate (MEDAB) and 2-(methacryloyloxy) ethyl 4-aminobenzoate (MEAB) in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP). We have studied the factors that affect transmittance in preparation of colorless and transparent polyimides. The transmittances of polyimide films were affected by molecular weights, the amount of end-capper, curing conditions, the amount of photoinitiator and the amount of glycidylmethacrylate (GMA) etc.. The highest transmittance in 2 um thickness of polyimides film was about 95% at 400 ㎚ wavelength. Furthermore, the polyimide precursor was found to be a negative-type photosensitive polyimide in the presence of photo initiator by uv irradiation, followed by development with 2.38% tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAH) aqueous solution.
