Ion exchanger is widely used in various industries. The most common applications of ion exchange are water deionization or softening, metal recovery, production of ultra-pure water, and fuel cells. In this study, sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone) (SPEEK) prepared with varying degree of sulfonation by using mixtures of chlorosufuric acid and concentratedsulfuric acid as the sulfonating agent. The SPEEK nanofiber was prepared by electrospinning. The chemical structure of nanofiber was investigated by FT-IR spectrometer, EDS, TGA and the morphology of nanofiber was characterized by SEM. |
