Among many conducting polymers with metallic characteristics, polyaniline (PAN) is claimed to have one of the highest environmental stability and the most inexpensive and easy to formulate with other general polymers. To simply employing PAN into a roll-to-roll (R2R) printing process for RFID antenna, the conductivity of PAN film has to be improved up to 8000 S/cm. However, up to present, the best known conductivity of PAN was 1000 S/cm which is not good enough to print the antenna, electrodes and wires. In this presentation, we would like to adopt a self-doping process to in situ hybrid metal nanoparticles with PAN for enhancing conductivity of PAN. The reason for employing the self-doping process is due to prevent the reduction and phase separation of PAN solution by Ag nanoparticles. |
