제목 High Performance Organic Polymer Semiconductors:Modulation of Carrier Mobility
초록 Organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) are the most promising electronic devices fabricated using either well-defined single crystals (SCs) or thin films as charge-transporting layers. Fabrication of SCs or thin films with small molecules is often carried out via high-cost gas-phase deposition due to low solubility. In another class of semiconducting materials, a number of conjugated polymers with good solution processability and a high degree of crystallinity have been suggested to show superior mechanical and semiconducting properties. However, reproduction of films with identical degrees of crystallinity is still difficult to achieve, although some progress has been made using various annealing processes. In short, technological efforts are focused on the development of a new class of materials that possess the advantages of π-conjugated polymers.
