제목 Towards the application of self-consistent field approach to compressible polymer mixtures
초록 Here, we present a theoretical scheme to generalize the self-consistent field theory for inhomogeneous polymer mixtures, which is originally developed by Helfand, to those mixtures with finite compressibility. In connection with the random-phase approximation (RPA) analysis, an effective interaction field for ij-contacts is given with a chosen molecular free volume model, and then carefully included in the Edwards partition function. All the necessary equations for external fields and single chain propagators are obtained via the saddle-point approximation.
