Dimethylsilyl-linked A-P Dimers and Their Efficient T-T Annihilation in OLED |
초록 |
The development of efficient, stable, blue-emitting materials is the most important issue in material research for organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs), due to their intrinsic wider energy gap compared with green- and red- emitting materials, resulting in degradation of materials in devices. In this study, we synthesised a sp3-hybridised tetrahedral silicon core with dimethyl groups, 9,10-biarylanthracene, and pyrene. It is expected that the introduction of Si with empty 3d orbital can interrupt the conjugation between anthracene and pyrene while the 3d empty orbital of silicon may not interrupt the charge mobility. |
