제목 Highly efficient dye sensitized solar cells with both open-ended TiO2 nanotube-nanoparticle hybrid photoanode
초록 TiO2 nanotube (TNT) is well known for efficient charge collecting photoanode, but most reported TNT based dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs) showed low power conversion efficiency (PCE) than TiO2 nanoparticle (TNP) based DSCs due to a relatively low internal surface area limiting the quantity of dye and light harvesting. Recently, we reported a simple method to produce both open-ended TNT (ONT) membrane, and the ONT-DSCs yielded a higher PCE than was observed from TiO2 nanoparticle-based DSCs, for similar film thicknesses condition, despite the use of less amount dye. In this work, we fabricated advanced photoanode which small TNPs were introduced on ONT for achieving large surface area and high efficient DSCs.
