제목 | The surface morphology and heating characteristic of copper induced carbon fibers using various introduction method |
초록 | Copper has been introduced on pitch-based carbon fibers by different methods such as electroless plating, sonication and tip sonication to evaluate surface morphology and heating characteristics. The surface morphology and temperature in nature of Cu induced carbon fibers are observed by SEM and thermos-graphic camera, respectively. From experimental results, the morphology of these carbon fibers has showed differntly according to introduction methods. It also reveals that the electroless plating on carbon fibers lead to induce the highest amount of copper. The surface temperature of the carbon fibers increases with increasing the amount of induced copper. The amount of introduced copper on carbon fibers could be controlled by different methods. These Cu- induced carbon fibers have a great potential for use electrically heated products.
