Advantages of ‘spherical’ reservoir - Relative small opening from single process (Supporting – opening size) - Even though the reservoir positioned near surface, smaller volume is under harsh deformation. (The deformation is harder at closer position from surface) That means more sustainable release can be achieved in comparison of equivalent rectangular shape. On/Off system was realized - Relatively small opening is needed for ON/OFF function. - Buffer channel was added for ‘critical’ stain. (advanced ON/OFF function) - We can easily design the buffer channel - Mechanism explanation Process Narration - Water drop on PDMS prepolymer(ref) - Curing - Cover layer fabrication - Injection and release test |
