제목 Deposition of Pt-Ru Nanoparticles on Polythiophene Ball with Core-Shell Structure by Various Reduction Method for a Direct Methanol Fuel Cell Catalyst
초록 The core-SiO2 shell-polythiophene (Poly-Th) was prepared by coating of poly-Th on the surface of SiO2 ball by in-situ polymerization of thiophene in the presence of SiO2 nanoparticle using FeCl3 as initiator. Subsequently, the Pt-Ru nanoparticles were deposited on the surface of core-shell ball by various reduction methods. The reduction methods were included in chemical reduction assisted with ultrasonic irradiation and gamma-irradiation, Pt-Ru@poly-Th/SiO2, respectively. We examined the catalytic efficiency of Pt-Ru@poly-Th/SiO2 catalyst for CO and methanol oxidation by cyclic voltammetry.
