제목 Synthesis of analysis of mesoporous MOx-ZnO (M = Mn, Co, Ni, and Cu) as anode materials for LIBs
초록 Zinc Oxide (ZnO) has received great attention for decades in solar cells, semiconductor lasers, and LIBs. As an anode material for LIBs, ZnO has various advantages such as high capacity and good stability. However, its large volume change during cycling and poor electronic conductivity would result in capacity fading and poor cyclability.
Mixed oxides have been adopted as the anode materials to improve the electrochemical properties. Combining ZnO with other metal oxides would improve initial capacity and reduce degradation.
Mesoporous MOx-ZnO were synthesized by heating under reflux and analyzed by XRD, N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms, and SEM. The materials were also investigated as anode material for LIB. Among them, CoOx-ZnO exhibited much better reversible capacity, initial coulombic efficiency, and rate capability.
