Inflammatory Reaction of Hybrid Scaffold Contained Hydroxyapatite In vitro and In vivo. |

In this study, we composed hydroxyapatite/PLGA scaffold using 0, 10, 20, 40 and 60 wt% of hydroxyapatite. We performed compressive strength, SEM analysis and FT-IR for mechanical property of hydroxyapatite/PLGA scaffold. For biocompatibility test, NIH/3T3 mouse fibroblasts were cultured in the hydroxyapatite/PLGA scaffold for 3days. Cell proliferation and viability were measured via MTT assay. RT-PCR was conducted to confirm mRNA expression of GAPDH, COX-2, TNF-α and IL-6 as inflammatory markers. This study showed that hydroxyapatite/PLGA scaffolds reduction of inflammatory reaction of PLGA. This research was supported by the MIFAFF (112007-05-1-SB010) and MEST (2012M3A9C6050203). |
