Preparation of epoxy alcohols is one of the important research topics, because the epoxy alcohols are extremely versatile building blocks in organic synthesis. In the past decades, catalytic procedures adapted various oxidizing reagents and organometallic catalysts have been the general approaches. In this study, we thoroughly investigated reaction conditions of microchemical photooxygenation to synthesize allylic hydroperoxide from alkene and reaction conditions of microchemical epoxidation to transform it directly into epoxy alcohol. Based on the results of the experiment, tandem microchemical synthesis which two sequential reactions does not exert a negative effect to each other was realized and also for cases which reaction was processed in less than 1 % during more than ten hours of reaction time under batch conditions, a yield higher than 99 % was achieved in three hours. |
