제목 Living Polymerization of N,N-Diphenyl Acrylamide with Triisobutyl Aluminum
초록 N,N-diphenyl acrylamide was polymerized in a living fashion with triisobutyl aluminum. The polymerization results showed the increase of molecular weight proportional to the monomer consumed and first-order kinetics with respect to monomer concentration. The increase of molecular weight was also observed with sequential addition of additional monomer. The intermediates obtained under condition of high initiator concentration, revealed that the mechanism involves initiation through 1,4-addition by hydride transfer and propagation by aluminum-oxygen bond interchange. Details of polymerization and its mechanism will be presented.
