The ability to generate nano-structures is central to modern science and technology. Nanofabrication has its foundations in nanoelectronics, and it will continue to be the basis for nanoprocessors, memories, and other nanoelectronic devices for information technology in the foreseeable future. Nanostructure building and integration of a range of devices have resulted in portability, reductions in time, cost, sample size, and power consumption. Here, multi-dimensional polymer nanostructures were fabricated using imprinting methods with anodized aluminum cylinders. In particular, large-scale surface-textured polymer films could be yielded with size-controlled nanopores onto the circular Al cylinders. The large-scale imprinting was successfully demonstrated without any limitation along the printing direction onto various polymer films. In addition, these films-based applications were introduced, such as super-hydrophobic films and microfiltration membranes. |
