In this work, nanomats were fabricated with polyamideimide (PAI) by an electrospinning technique. The nanomats were treated by atmospheric pressure plasma and the surface characteristics of the treated nanomats were examined to determine the effect of the treatment time. Treatment time were varied within 60, 120, 180, and 240 sec. Surface chemical composition, surface functionalities and surface morphologies of PAI nanomats were analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and scanning electronmicroscopy (SEM), respectively. Surface free energy of the fibers was characterized by contact angle analysis (CAA). |
