An Investigation of the Distribution Behavior of PVBC Grafts over the Cross-section of PVBC-grafted FEP Films |

In this study, a SEM-EDX instrument was utilized successfully to observe that the distribution behaviors of a polyvinylbenzyl chloride (PVBC) grafting polymer across the FEP-g-PVBC membranes prepared by a simultaneous irradiation method. The distribution profiles of the chlorine over the grafted FEP films were used to observe the distribution behaviors of the PVBC grafts and were found to be affected by various grafting conditions such as the degree of grafting, monomer concentration, film thickness, and total absorbed dose. |
